Aside from his teaching activities, Tim is a respected music journalist, having written for both The Independent and the Guardian, on a wide range of musical topics. Tim is currently ‘Agony Uncle’ for Pianist magazine, where he writes a regular Q & A column on all aspects of piano playing.
